Last year this time we were headed to Mary Bridge for what we thought might be a few night stay for some breathing difficulties.
What we thought was mild pneumonia turned out to be congestive heart failure.
A surgery we thought was still several months away came on Christmas Eve.
Our baby who had been eating just fine came home with a GJ feeding tube...nine weeks after we were admitted.
What we thought would be our first Christmas as a Family of Four turned into a Christmas
where Santa came early because he knew Tiernan would be in surgery.
A Christmas where Auntie Rhiannon went and stayed with Tiernan
so Mommy, Daddy and Tristan could decorate the house.
A Christmas where Tiernan's PICU room was declared the
"Most Blinged Out Room On the Floor" by his amazing nurse Sonja.
A Christmas where our Family of Four pictures were in separate places.
A Christmas where FAB (Favorite Auntie Beej) flew down to live in Tiernan's room and text me pictures of his vitals monitor so we could be at home with Tristan.
A Christmas where Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit Tiernan, 24 hours post Glenn/DKS, and whisper, "Next year at home little one."
But THIS Christmas we...
Learn how to make snowballs...
...and snow angels.
Eat pickles and pumpkin pie
Climb all over the storage containers while Mommy Daddy and Brother decorate the house.

THANK YOU LORD JESUS!!!!
